Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dream Wisdom website (https://www.dream-wisdom.com) and any related mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Dream Wisdom provides:

  • A multilingual Islamic dream dictionary based on classical sources
  • A free personal dream interpretation tool
  • Educational blog content
  • An optional private dream journal
  • A mobile application (current or future) that may include both free and paid features

The Service is offered as an independent project. Some features may be free; others may require payment (especially in the mobile app).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Free and Paid Features

Free Features

Core features of the website (dream dictionary, personal interpretation tool, blog) are currently free to use. We may continue offering free access to essential content.

Paid Features

Certain advanced or premium features — especially in the mobile app — may be offered on a paid basis (one-time purchases, subscriptions, or in-app purchases). Prices, billing frequency, and available plans will be clearly displayed before purchase.

Paid features may include, but are not limited to:

  • Expanded interpretation capabilities
  • Advanced journal tools
  • Ad-free experience
  • Additional content or tools

We reserve the right to change free vs paid features over time, with reasonable notice where practical.

4. Accounts

Some features (such as the private journal or paid subscriptions) may require an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the dream descriptions, journal entries, and other content you submit (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content solely as needed to provide and improve the Service (for example, to generate a reflection or store it in your private journal).

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute large portions of the dictionary or content without permission
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or data beyond normal use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the dream dictionary, website design, mobile app, logos, and original content, is owned by Dream Wisdom or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for limited personal use or fair use under applicable law.

Classical Islamic sources referenced in the dictionary remain the intellectual heritage of the Muslim community; our presentation and compilation are protected.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

When you purchase a paid feature or subscription (primarily through the mobile app):

  • Payment is processed by the relevant app store (Apple App Store, Google Play) or other payment provider.
  • Prices and billing terms will be shown at the time of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to the platform’s rules.
  • Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store or payment provider and applicable law. We generally do not provide refunds beyond what the platform requires, except where required by law.

We are not responsible for billing issues that must be resolved directly with Apple, Google, or other payment processors.

9. Important Disclaimers

Dream interpretation is for personal reflection only.

The interpretations, reflections, and content provided by the Service:

  • Are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete
  • Do not constitute religious rulings (fatwas) or binding Islamic guidance
  • Are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for major life decisions

In Islam, dreams are approached with humility. Some dreams may carry meaning; others may arise from daily thoughts, emotions, or experiences. Allah knows best.

The Service is not a substitute for consulting a qualified Islamic scholar, licensed medical professional, or mental health specialist when needed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dream Wisdom and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other legitimate reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will indicate the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where practical (for example, via the Service or email). Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Almaty, Kazakhstan, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
