Seeing a yoke in a dream generally signifies benefit and advantage for most people, except for those already in bondage. For such individuals, a yoke represents increased hardship and tighter domination by their masters. If a person suffering from bondage, a prisoner of war, or a political detainee sees a broken yoke in a dream, it signifies release and freedom. The wooden frame attached to a plough or blade symbolizes marriage, having children, or engaging in work. A yoke in a dream may also indicate a turn of circumstances against one’s wishes or being compelled to accept imposed conditions.
