Seeing oneself wearing a wool garment during winter in a dream signifies gain, profit, and advantage. Wearing wool in the summer season points to hardship, worry, fatigue, and trials. Wool clothing in general also symbolizes lawful earnings and abundance. Sleeping on a sheepskin indicates wealth acquired through association with a wealthy woman or marriage to one. Burning wool in a dream denotes disrespect toward religion or a loss of wealth. If a learned person dreams of wearing wool, it reflects an inclination toward asceticism, calling others to God’s path, encouraging love for the everlasting comfort of the Hereafter, and discouraging attachment to fleeting worldly pleasures. Wearing a wool cloak without anything beneath it signifies receiving money from a dignified and respected individual. A dog clothed in a sheepskin represents a base person who finances himself through a renowned and honorable figure. A lion wearing a sheepskin symbolizes an oppressive ruler who seizes people’s wealth and possessions.
