Islamic Interpretation
A wallet in a dream signifies entering into marriage or the birth of a son. It can also represent the money contained within it or may symbolize a key. If one's wallet falls into the sea or a river, it means the loss of one's principal assets to those in power. Should it fall into fire, it signifies money lost to a covetous, jealous, and unfair individual. Some interpreters also equate a wallet with the dreamer's physical body. Having one's wallet taken away signifies death. Carrying a money belt denotes possessing the knowledge acquired in the earlier part of one's life. If it contains only small change, it indicates the need to continue on the path of learning and to advance one's studies.
