Islamic Interpretation
A toothbrush in a dream signifies cleanliness, sound hygiene, prosperity, purity, repentance, or seeking forgiveness from others. Brushing and cleaning the teeth also points to religiosity, devotion to family, care for relatives, and generosity toward kin. If one brushes his teeth and the gums bleed, it indicates freedom from sins and restraining wrongdoing, though it may also signify persisting in disgraceful acts, harming one’s family, misappropriating their wealth, or slandering them. Brushing the teeth can further represent caution in speech, self-purification from sin, faith following disbelief, settling debts, pleasing God Almighty, honoring promises, pregnancy, or marriage.
