(Pavilion; Canopy) In a dream, a tent signifies journeys, burial, a spouse, or a dwelling. A gathering of tents symbolizes clouds. If a tent is erected over an individual, for a merchant it forecasts business expansion; for a soldier, promotion; for an unmarried person, marriage. A white tent appearing beside one's own denotes an upright person who promotes virtue and condemns vice, and may also signal repentance for a grievous error. Seeing the moon within one's tent suggests immoral relations with a youth from a respectable household. Unfamiliar white or green tents in a valley represent the burial sites of martyrs.
