Islamic Interpretation
(Idol) In a dream, a statue symbolizes falsehood, fabricated matters, pretence, fantasy, illusion, negligence, or an attractive person who conceals deception. Worshipping a statue signifies lying against God Almighty, or following what oneβs own mind invents as an object of devotion, whether tangible or imagined. A carved wooden statue indicates flattering wealthy people or an unjust ruler by means of religion. A statue made of wood signifies engaging in religious argumentation or disputes. If the statue is of silver, it points to provoking an improper relationship with a servant, a foreign woman, or forming an intimate attachment. A golden statue indicates committing a grave wrongdoing, religious injustice, or seeking gain in a way that angers God, leading to financial loss or illness. A statue made of mixed metals such as bronze, copper, iron, steel, or lead indicates using religious appearance for profit while neglecting remembrance of the Lord. A statue may also symbolize travel. Seeing a golden or silver statue can indicate prosperity. A bronze statue of a young woman moving signifies good harvests, abundance, or travel. If the statue is larger than life, it denotes fear. Statues also represent children, sexual desire, or determination. Worshipping a statue reflects devotion to falsehood and preference for desires over obedience to God. Worshipping a golden statue signifies seeking business from a God-fearing person while incurring losses and revealing weakness of faith. Worshipping a silver statue signifies exploiting religion for gain, betrayal, seeking assistance for evil, or abusing trust under religious guise. Seeing a statue without worship signifies financial gain. A statue may also indicate infatuation with a woman or a boy. Statues further represent deafness, foolish conduct, muteness, or attachment to worldly things turned into idols, such as rank, wealth, spouse, home, or child. Owning a statue indicates marrying a deaf, mute, or unintelligent woman, or having a child with similar deficiencies. Whatever state the statue appears in reflects these meanings. A statue can also represent a generation, and any defect in it reflects a defect in society. It may symbolize strength and resolve. Breaking, crippling, or damaging a statue means overcoming an enemy and attaining honor and fame. If the statue represents a specific woman, she may be calm, intelligent, and composed, or conversely foolish and proud.
