Islamic Interpretation
In a dream, a slaughterhouse signifies the loss of lives, the return of souls to their Lord, bloodshed, the flaying of animals, or foul and repulsive conditions. It may also point to weddings, joyful gatherings, celebrations, and feasts, or, on the contrary, to oppression, immorality, or a house of vice. If an ill person sees himself entering a slaughterhouse, it foretells the end of his life and the distribution of his possessions after death. When a healthy person enters a slaughterhouse and his clothes become stained with blood, it indicates illness, trials, or burdensome debts. Seeing swine being slaughtered there means witnessing the downfall of innovators, vile individuals, evildoers, and corrupt people; likewise, if people fear someone, the dream signals the end of that person. A slaughterhouse can also symbolize a dungeon, a place of torture, or a crude prison. Entering it may further suggest that the authorities are investigating accusations against the dreamer.
