A pillow in a dream symbolizes wealth, a husband, a wife, a trusted confidant, or children. It may also represent a woman who is entrusted with another woman’s secrets and preserves them from public knowledge. Seeing a stolen pillow signifies the death of one’s servant. The ruler’s pillow represents his deputies, ministers, or administrators. For most people, a pillow reflects close companions, intimate friends, or brothers. Its interpretation is similar to that of a mattress or a carpet. For scholars, a pillow denotes piety and righteousness. Carrying a pillow in a dream also points to earnings, comfort, rest, support, or illness.
