Within a dream, a pawn signifies property given as surety for a debt, or it may indicate favorable changes in one's circumstances. Placing a valuable item as security for something of little worth suggests becoming enamored with a disrespectful man who will mistreat a woman, exploit her, or use her for his own ends. Executing a collateral agreement in a vision also reflects a deficit of trust between the one who lends and the one who borrows.
