A plated coin seen in a dream signifies lies, deception, or something of little value. Throwing money at someone in a dream means listening to obscene talk or imitating another person. Money in a dream also denotes idle speech or neglecting one’s prayers. Swallowing a coin in a dream signifies betraying a trust. Money may further represent knowledge, faith, guidance, or obtaining a position in government service. Giving money away in a dream means relief from distress, hardships, or burdens. Receiving money signifies being entrusted with a responsibility. Handling between one and four coins is considered a favorable sign. Money also symbolizes one’s speech. Possessing a great amount of money indicates disputes and arguments. Receiving money from a known source points to stress, while receiving it from an unknown source indicates calamity. An engraved coin means harm from one’s own family or in pursuit of profit. If a deceased person gives money in a dream, it means being spared from unjust judgment, but refusing it is a warning to avoid injustice or falling victim to it.
