Making a knot in one’s shirt during a dream denotes involvement in trade or business. Tying a knot with a rope reflects firmness in religious commitment, while tying one with a handkerchief signifies granting extra benefits to a servant or employee. Fastening a belt over trousers points to marriage. Tying a knot with thread represents setting an intention, defining a plan, or it may signify sorcery and harmful spells. If one ties a rope or thread around a pouch or bag and cannot reopen it, then an unknown person loosens it, it indicates distress, tension, political oppression, or financial hardship that will be removed suddenly by God’s permission.
