Seeing a hermitage in a dream signifies spiritual withdrawal, self-restraint, upright conduct, isolation, asceticism, mastering one’s impulses and desires, separation from one’s spouse, distancing from companions, or it may indicate illness. If a sick person sees himself inside a hermitage, it can signify death or the repression of sexual urges. Dwelling in or constructing a hermitage in a dream denotes elevation in rank. A newly built and attractive hermitage symbolizes a wife. A hermitage may also indicate migration, confusion, breaking off a friendship, concealment, authority, or represent one’s son.
