A garbage dump in a dream symbolizes the worldly life, while its waste represents wealth. If one’s house turns into a dump, or if one acquires, inherits, or manages a dump in a dream, it indicates the removal of fear, healing from illness, or striving toward prosperity and success in worldly affairs. It may also mean relief from poverty, receiving an inheritance, or entering into marriage. In another sense, the dump represents one’s trade, workplace, or shop. For a ruler, a garbage dump signifies the state treasury. If someone removes his clothes and stands naked atop a heap of refuse, it means loss of position; if he is ill, it signals death; and if he is wealthy, it denotes abandoning wealth and status or adopting an ascetic way of life.
