In many cases, feathers signify the household of a righteous and devout person, reflecting piety and protection. Seeing wings in a dream generally relates to movement, power, and support. If one sees himself flying with wings, it indicates travel or transition from one state to another. Wings may also represent one’s children, dependents, or sources of strength. If the wings appear full of feathers, this signifies prosperity, honor, authority, and expansion in wealth or influence. Flying with another person’s wings means receiving assistance, backing, or support from someone else, which is why it is said that a person “flies with another’s wings” when aided by others. Having wings but not using them to fly represents the acquisition of worldly possessions or wealth without undertaking major change. A broken wing in a dream signifies severe illness that may afflict one’s son. Experiencing intense pain from having one’s wings torn away suggests the loss or death of a child.
