Islamic Interpretation
(Collar, Neckband, Neckwear) A collar band beheld in a vision symbolizes a mother's or wife's delight and esteem upon seeing her son or daughter prospering in the trade of fine gems. For an unwed woman to see herself adorned with a neckband, necklace, or collar made from pearls, peridot, or chrysotile signifies she will wed a man of noble lineage and high station, bear him children, and attain her deepest contentment and affection through this union. Should the collar be fashioned from alum, it denotes marriage to a youth from the East. If the band is made of beads in the vision, her husband will be a lowly and despicable man. If a man sees himself wearing such a collar, it presages a sensation of choking, mental anguish, or a dispute. (Also see Neckband, Necklace)
