(Cloak, Overcoat, Garment) Wearing a new coat in a dream brings honor and esteem. A worn or thin coat indicates negligence in religious duties. A winter coat represents a poor yet arrogant and boastful individual. A coat can also symbolize a resource or an unchaste woman. If a man’s coat is interpreted as a woman, it suggests investing substantial capital into something yielding little return. Losing one’s coat means being preserved from poverty while boasting of one’s status. A coat also represents a person’s trust, as it rests on the shoulders and neck.
