(Pavilion, Tent) Erecting a pavilion outdoors to sit beneath it in a dream signifies acquiring authority and command. A canopy also denotes visiting the tombs of martyrs and supplicating for them, or dying in their noble condition. Taking down a canopy means losing one's influence and rule, or it may signal the approach of death's end. Stepping out from under a canopy indicates a decline in one's power or affairs. Entering or standing under a canopy signifies sincerity of heart and purpose, achieving the rank of a martyr through genuine faith, or journeying to the Holy Sanctuary in Jerusalem.
