Islamic Interpretation
Seeing or holding the sacred Black Stone of the Kaaba in a dream signifies pledging loyalty to a ruler, repenting from sin under the guidance of a devout religious leader, or embracing one's son, wife, or dear friend. It can also denote serving in public office. Touching the Stone suggests one will become a student under an Imam from the Arabian Peninsula. The vision may simply indicate an intention to perform the pilgrimage. Cutting into the Stone reveals a desire for others to adopt one's personal views. Witnessing pilgrims unable to locate the Stone indicates a belief in one's own infallibility and the error of others, or possessing concealed knowledge. Touching it points to adherence to the teachings of an Imam from the Hijaz region. If the Stone appears as one's personal fortress, it suggests following religious innovations.
