This encompasses bias, devaluing items, using dishonest measures, or profiting from usury. A wheat seller denotes a person devoted to worldly life with little concern for the hereafter. Receiving payment for goods or casting aside profits from a sale may be a meritorious act. Selling yarn signifies travel. Selling salt indicates additional income. Selling costly garments and refusing payment represents a trustworthy individual who will achieve a lofty station. A fruit seller signifies a diligent man who prioritizes his faith over worldly matters. A seller of aromatic herbs denotes a tender-hearted man prone to tears, or a Qur'an reciter whose emotional delivery moves his audience. A bird seller represents a procurer, while a lead seller signifies a person with modest ambitions.
