Stones from a mountain in a vision symbolize steadfast believers who cling tightly to their religious obligations. Should a person see themselves attempting to lift a massive boulder to test their might, it indicates they will confront a formidable adversary. Success in lifting it foretells victory, while failure suggests defeat. If stones are seen striking or tumbling upon one's head, it signifies that a superior will impose heavy duties, demand personal favors, rely upon them, or force a service. This also implies one's counsel will be influential and their opinion valued. Hurling stones in all directions from a height represents acting unjustly from a position of power. Women pelting one with stones from a sling signifies being targeted by witchcraft and an evil enchantment. A poor person striking a rock with a staff until water flows from it promises future wealth. A rock can also denote hardworking, patient, and resolute women. Additionally, it signifies long life, building, forgetfulness, livestock, insolence, shamelessness, illicit relations, debauchery, immorality, or an unfeeling heart. A town strewn with rocks may indicate falling prices. If a rock signifies rank, it is an enduring one; if a wife, she is enduring and satisfied. A rock can also represent a doorway, a dwelling, or an idol. A mountain of rocks points to merciless, savage, and pitiless men or their abodes. Drilling into a rock shows one is pursuing something difficult to obtain, with progress matching the depth drilled. Descending upon a rock carries the same meaning as descending a mountain.
