In a dream, a rake signifies a worker or a servant. Since it is used to collect dust, soil, or dung, and such matter symbolizes wealth in dreams, it points to money or earnings. Only someone who normally uses a rake while awake is likely to see it in a dream. For an unmarried person, seeing a rake indicates marriage, guarding one’s chastity, or joining with a loved one. It may also symbolize crops, strong appetite, a ladle, a son, financial comfort, a diligent man, an assistant, a hardworking and patient woman, or commercial pursuits. (Also see Shovel)
