Islamic Interpretation
A priest in a vision signifies faith, renunciation of worldly affairs, steering clear of doubtful matters, or he may symbolize an Imam, a spiritual guide, a model to emulate, or a sage whose counsel people honor and follow. A priest could also denote someone who relies on speculation, or one who is blind to his own shortcomings. If an ordinary individual sees himself as a priest, it portends benefits for others, advancement in status, and renown. Should a common person see himself speaking in the manner of a preacher, a diviner, a fortune-teller, an astrologer, or a priest, it indicates that he utters falsehoods and engages in deception.
