In a vision, a perfume salesman symbolizes a mystic, an ascetic, a pious worshiper, or a man of learning. Whoever keeps his company will partake of the scent of his wares, acquire refined conduct, adopt praiseworthy manners, gain insight into his craft, find themselves in a joyful environment, or receive acclaim—unless the salesman is burning incense, for the smoke arising from it in a dream signifies guarded or insincere praise. A perfume salesman also represents an expert in adornment and beautification.
