A small girl in a vision symbolizes flourishing, wealth after need, and relief following a temporary hardship. Seeing a nursing infant girl is even more favorable, indicating a new and commendable phase in life, the fulfillment of hoped-for benefits, or dwelling in a renewed world. She also represents something unique for the beholder. Carrying a little girl signifies the freeing of a captive, or if one is troubled, at fault in a dispute, indebted, or poor, it foretells the dispelling of all worries by joyful news concerning this girl. If these conditions do not apply, it signifies distress or calamity. A mother giving birth to an ailing baby girl means relief from her troubles; giving birth from the mouth means death. A little girl also signifies a new world; a young girl suggests obtaining new employment. If a woman sees a little girl, it indicates infertility. Hiring a little girl to work brings glad tidings; hiring a little boy brings ill news. Carrying a little girl is preferable to carrying a little boy. Carrying a swaddled infant boy signifies confinement or sickness. For a poor person, it predicts living to old age in wretchedness.
