Islamic Interpretation
To see a judge or governor in a dream signifies engagement in judicial affairs or governance. If one is appointed a judge, it denotes just and righteous conduct, whereas sitting on the bench yet failing to judge justly reveals one's own injustice. Presiding over people may indicate dismissal from a position. For a traveler, becoming a judge warns of robbery or a divine blessing turning into a curse. Witnessing a known judge act unjustly points to widespread inequity and deceit in measures within that community. Standing before a judge who treats one fairly promises justice in a dispute or relief from distress, but an unfair judge foretells loss to an adversary. Seeing a judge with scales tilting favorably signals great divine reward for good deeds, while an opposite tilt is a warning to repent or abandon sin. If the judge weighs bad money, it foretells giving false testimony that is accepted. Dreaming oneself as a judge, sage, scholar, or righteous person brings fame, a good reputation, asceticism, and spiritual knowledge if qualified; otherwise, it portends false accusation or robbery during travel. A cheerful judge brings glad tidings. The judge's bench signifies a scare or fight, and the seat of rulers, judges, or scholars denotes disturbance, sorrow, financial loss, illness, depression, or exposed secrets. For a sick person, standing before a judge may mean death, though a favorable verdict promises recovery. One facing adversities who sits on the judge's bench will triumph. An unknown judge in a dream represents God Almighty, while a known judge represents a physician.
