(Deception, Plot, Profits, Fall) Excavating a pit, a well, or a channel with the intent to nourish plants signifies tending to one's own requirements and supporting the welfare of one's household. Consuming the earth removed from such digging represents arrogance, or a person who gains wealth through trickery. Finding oneself within a cavity in a dream also indicates marital separation. Observing such a hole from the outside foretells a dispute with one's partner that will ultimately be resolved. If an ill or imprisoned person dreams of emerging from a hole, it denotes liberation from his tribulations. Tumbling into a pit and calling for help unsuccessfully suggests embarking on a brief journey. A hole also symbolizes a destitute woman who endeavors to conceal the faults of others, yet fails to hide her own. Concealing oneself within a hole signifies the alleviation of fears or the conclusion of hardships. While hidden, discovering sustenance, fresh water, or a garment denotes benefiting from unexpected quarters or reconciling with an adversary.
