In a dream, a hill signifies a formidable and perilous individual. Any structures around the hill reflect that person's riches. If one sees level ground next to a raised area or hill, such a mound represents a wealthy man whose affluence matches the extent of the adjacent lands. A verdant meadow encircling a hill denotes the person's might, fairness in conduct, or religious commitment. By extension, it also means receiving promotion through a person of influence. Traversing hills in a vision signifies evading peril. Stationed atop a hill indicates having authority over a devout individual. Moving down a hill or raised ground denotes financial loss, severe head pain, or disgrace. Being confined atop a hill signifies an elevated position. If the elevation is composed of refuse, it points to worldly and material standing. A raised area in a dream can also symbolize one's spouse.
