Islamic Interpretation
In a vision, a dealer in grains represents a man of honor whose income is blessed if he is not compelled to sell his wares in the dream; but if he is anxious to sell his stock, it will bring him disgrace. If one sees the ruler of his city selling grain, it means that ruler will lose his office. A grain merchant may also signify the chief of traders, a union leader, the master of a craft, or a beloved and generous leader. Selling grain without receiving payment or seeing money in return denotes one's renunciation of worldly attachment and thankfulness to his Lord, for the true value of things lies in gratitude.
