Islamic Interpretation
Should one witness the walls of his dwelling falling down due to a deluge in a vision, it foretells the passing of his spouse. If one sees his house collapsing upon him, raising a great dust cloud, it suggests he may be stricken with measles. A ceiling that gives way signifies ruin. To see a ruined house rebuilt and standing anew indicates the spiritual renewal of its inhabitant. If one anticipates a family member's return or awaits a guest, and a section of his house caves in, it signals the imminent arrival of that traveler. If a daughter, sister, or other woman resides there, it means the visitor will come seeking her in marriage. If a tempest utterly destroys his entire house, it portends that death will visit that place by the hand of an oppressor. To dream of oneself tearing down an old house or structure signifies misfortune. Should a woman see her walls collapsing upon her, it portends the death of her husband. (Also see Destruction)
