Holding a child in one’s arms in a dream signifies burdens, cares, and hardships. A youthful adolescent in a dream brings joyful news or the easing of troubles. Seeing a handsome teenage boy entering a city, descending from heaven, or emerging from the earth foretells that the good tidings will soon materialize. A fully grown child symbolizes strength and dominance. Dreaming of oneself as a child studying at school indicates repentance for a repeated sin. If a well-known scholar is seen sitting in a nursery learning with young children, it means he will fall into ignorance, lose his standing, or face financial upheaval that alters his lifestyle. Receiving guidance as though one were a child points to inheriting wealth from one’s mother. Seeing oneself as a newborn baby foretells riches and success. For a young boy to see himself reverted to childhood carries an unfavorable meaning. A sick person appearing as a child predicts his death. Being scolded like a child signifies defeat. Looking into a mirror and seeing a child’s face while one’s wife is pregnant means she will bear a son resembling his father. Carrying an infant represents worry and heavy responsibility.
