In a dream, wheat symbolizes honestly acquired wealth. Purchasing wheat signifies an increase in one's income or in the number of his offspring. Should one observe a ruler inserting a rod into a measure of grain, it foretells inflation. Sowing wheat denotes performing a righteous act to seek divine favor. Walking amid wheat fields represents serving God. If wheat is planted but barley emerges, it indicates hypocrisy. If it yields blood, it signifies profit from usurious gains. Consuming raw wheat directly from its stalk in the field denotes spiritual advancement through renunciation. Eating cooked wheat signifies facing tribulations. Gathering sheaves of wheat or placing them in a vessel predicts profits corresponding to the number collected. Harvesting wheat out of season heralds death, ruin, deceit, and calamity for that region's inhabitants.
