In a dream, a water lily symbolizes life, secrecy, concealment, and travel by sea. If a sea traveler sees a water lily, it indicates that his ship may sink. A water lily also represents lawfully earned wealth from which one gives charity seeking the pleasure of his Lord. It may further signify grief, sadness, illness, a double-faced person, someone with tainted actions, or a temperament that constantly changes. Holding a bouquet of water lilies in a dream denotes transformation, sickness, sorrow, or patience and endurance.
