Islamic Interpretation
If one witnesses a deceased individual cleansing himself before interment in a dream, it signifies comfort for his dependents and an augmentation of their wealth following his passing. To wash a dead body in a dream indicates that someone will experience repentance facilitated by the person performing the washing. Should the departed request that someone launder his garments, it denotes that he is in need of prayers, intercession before God, charitable acts for his soul, the settlement of his debts, the execution of his will, or the pursuit of justice for his demise. If one fulfills this request and washes the clothing, it signifies the salvation of the deceased.
