Vomiting in a dream signifies restoring things to their rightful owners, revealing hidden matters, or recovering one’s health through moderation and control of appetite. Throwing up clean and undigested food in a dream denotes ease, relief, and comfort in one’s life. If a poor person vomits blood in a dream, it means he will receive money, be blessed with a son, or experience the return of a relative from a journey. If the blood is collected in a container, it signifies that the son will survive a severe illness, or that a returning relative will stay with him. However, if the blood spills onto the ground, it indicates the death of either the child or the relative. If a person vomits and his intestines or bowels come out in the dream, it signifies the death of a child. For a sick person, vomiting in a dream indicates death. Vomiting a snake in a dream also signifies death, or it may represent distancing oneself from enemies and escaping their harm. Vomiting into a basin signifies repentance from wrongdoing, or it may indicate giving a woman a share of unlawfully acquired wealth. If one vomits with difficulty and finds the taste repulsive in the dream, it means he is compelled to confess and apologize for a wrongdoing, though he resents being exposed. This may also indicate paying compensation, suffering health problems, or encountering financial loss. Throwing up food means giving charity or returning something to someone in need. Swallowing vomit before it leaves the mouth means breaking a promise or retracting one’s word.
