In a dream, a threshold symbolizes one’s robe or clothing, personal adornment, cosmetics, wealth, or it may signify bringing a matter to an end or making it public. It can also represent a beautiful woman who possesses all the qualities a man desires, such as beauty, noble character, intelligence, prosperity, and the ability to bear children. Purchasing a new threshold or sitting upon it indicates that either the husband or the wife may incur a physical injury. Sitting beneath the doorway threshold points to hardship or illness.
