Swelling in a dream signifies an augmentation in one's income, or earnings that will be swiftly expended, or it may denote an increase in knowledge. Swelling also connotes arrogance, self-praise, or a concealed assertion. If an inflammatory swelling diminishes, it signifies the homecoming of a traveler, the pacification of an irate person, the tempering of an enraged individual's fury, the normalization of affairs, the placation of a disagreeable person, or the loss of one's employment.
