(Starling) A swallow in a dream represents wealth, a blessed man or woman, or a bright and knowledgeable child. Catching a swallow signifies taking what is unlawful. A house full of swallows represents lawful income. A swallow also symbolizes a righteous, friendly, and pious man. Assisting a swallow means helping a kind person in waking life. Catching a swallow may also indicate injustice toward one’s wife. Eating a swallow signifies conflict or fighting. If swallows fly away from one’s house, it indicates that one’s wife or a relative will depart, separate, or travel away. In general, swallows and starlings represent people of means, or they may symbolize death, sorrow, good deeds, movement, chanting, generosity, or weddings. Seeing a swallow may also indicate marriage to a trustworthy woman or a capable household manager. Being transformed into a swallow signifies that thieves will rob one’s home.
