Islamic Interpretation
In a dream, making supplication signifies an act of devotion, a special form of prayer, or requesting a particular need. Uttering invocations indicates that one's requirements will be fulfilled. If the supplication arises from dire necessity or is accompanied by intense emotion, weeping, or sorrow, it represents trying circumstances or potential trials in one's life. Loud or solemn invocations may denote prayers for rain. Should the supplications not seek divine favor or are not directed toward God, they represent falsehood. Silent supplication may signify the birth of a blessed son. Witnessing a group gathered in a circle for prayer, remembrance, and invocation of divine attributes signifies an assembly of children, growth, blessings, or the removal of afflictions. Seeing oneself praying to God Almighty, or having prayers offered on one's behalf, denotes joy and wealth. Supplications made in God's house or a mosque are more potent than those offered elsewhere. Praying in darkness signifies deliverance from tribulations. If one sees himself imploring another person, it indicates he fears that individual. (Also see Prayers, Zikr)
