In a dream, preparing a dish of boiled meat and vegetables signifies gain and abundance for someone in need. Cooking an Indian stew, a meal of corn and assorted vegetables, denotes indigence, devout worship, or piety. Cooking vegetables before they are ripe portends sickness. If one prepares a fine meal for himself, it suggests he will receive honor, a governmental post, or wealth. Should another person cook one's meal, it may indicate betrayal, trickery, or possibly receiving aid from someone, depending on one's aim or current condition.
