In a vision, sparks signify offensive speech. If sparks strike one, it means he will hear harsh words from someone in power. If one's garments catch fire from sparks, it means a worsening of his situation. If smoke envelops the sparks, they represent a formidable tribulation. Wherever smoke appears, it denotes a dreadful and terrifying disaster. If sparks cause secondary burns, they represent a feeble enemy who maligns him, and one may endure the effects of such slander with forbearance until its harm and flame eventually die down. A large eruption of sparks signifies a great catastrophe. A spark falling amidst an assembly means a conflict and injury. Sparks also signify one's children. If sparks scorch one's face, they denote persistent affliction and turmoil. Sparks also signify wicked acts, transgressions, and crimes that demand chastisement in the inferno.
