Bread soaked in meat broth or soup in a vision represents a person's sustenance. The quantity consumed from a bowl signifies the portion of life already spent, and the remainder signifies what remains. Gazing at a bowl of soup and fearing to eat from it denotes a long life accompanied by comfort and ease. Consuming fatless soup denotes desiring death due to penury or sickness. Soup with bread but no meat denotes a high office devoid of benefits. Eating lion's soup denotes presiding over cruel and pitiless people, along with distrust and fears. Eating dog's soup denotes presiding over a vile and contemptible enterprise, working with wicked people, and earning illicit gains. If the soup lacks fat, it denotes privation, poverty, and disgrace. Eating the soaked bread from such soup denotes death. Eating falcon's or eagle's soup denotes embarking on a business journey, or profiting from ignorant people who unwillingly accept their losses.
