In a vision, the noise of a multitude signifies money, among other advantages. The bleating of sheep denotes anxiety and dread. The neighing of horses denotes power and dignity. The barking of a dog denotes idle chatter and intrusion into others' affairs. The cry of a lynx denotes self-indulgence and licentiousness. The cooing of doves denotes weeping, grief, or marriage. The chirping of swallows denotes useful speech. The croaking of frogs denotes a beating or death. The ringing of bells and the hissing of snakes denote a struggle, dispute, warning, or war. The braying of donkeys denotes reviling in obscurity. The braying of mules denotes frivolous talk, or engaging in questionable acts. The lowing of a cow denotes enticement. The grunting or roaring of camels denotes journeys and hardships. The roar of a lion denotes intimidation. The caterwauling of a tomcat denotes tumult, slander, defamation, and insinuation. The yapping of foxes denotes a warning to flee from peril, or to shift from one sphere to another. The howling of a wolf denotes theft. The squeaking of a mouse denotes gains, reunion, affection, and peace. The cry of a female gazelle denotes yearning for one's native land.
