Islamic Interpretation
Siddiqun is the noble archangel entrusted with interpreting dreams and visions and with conveying explanatory parables drawn from the Heavenly Preserved Tablet. Seeing him in a dream signifies glad tidings, joy, celebrations, and the fulfillment of promises. It may also point to recognizing the inevitability of death, enjoying life within proper bounds, undertaking journeys, returning home safely, marriage, offspring, appointment to a high rank, attainment of authority, power, and victory, or, in some cases, defeat and humiliation, according to divine wisdom. Whatever this blessed angel gives, conveys, or declares in a dream will come to pass exactly as shown, for he is entrusted with this divine responsibility. Siddiqun in a dream also represents the spokesman of a household, the interpreter of a palace, the bearer of royal decrees, and one who has access to hidden matters and inner secrets. Seeing him further symbolizes piety, spiritual insight, healing and medicine, clarity of understanding, sharp perception, and transparency of vision. He may also represent a teacher who constantly refers to knowledge, such as one looking at a blackboard, a librarian, an official or public speaker, recorded registers, written logs, or books, all of which point to wisdom, instruction, and the faithful transmission of truth.
