In a dream, discharging arrows is akin to bombarding an individual or location. Alternatively, it signifies speaking ill of people behind their backs or defaming them. Loosing arrows may also represent administering medicine or giving an injection to an ailing person. Should the arrows lack metal tips in the vision, it portends disillusionment. If one shoots arrows and also finds himself as the target, it indicates he will achieve his ultimate purpose of encountering his Lord. However, if he remains among the living, it foretells elevation in status and receiving honor. Witnessing two lines of people shooting arrows at each other signifies that the victorious side upholds truth while the defeated side is in error. Firing arrows at people denotes engaging in gossip, calumny, or idle chatter. Repeatedly missing one's mark points to possessing a malicious tongue. Hitting the intended target denotes accomplishing one's aims or speaking truthfully about an acquaintance. Donning white attire, standing atop a mountain, and shooting arrows toward the East and West suggests gaining extensive authority over people and territories, provided one is qualified.
