To witness a robbery in a dream signifies the commission of adultery or involvement in usurious dealings. An unidentified thief in such a vision represents the Angel of Death. Should the thief be known to the homeowner, it indicates the dreamer will gain from that person's knowledge, craft, counsel, or wise admonition. If an unknown burglar enters a house and takes a washbasin, blanket, or other feminine domestic item, it may portend the death of one's wife or a close female relative. Being robbed of money by a known person points to that individual slandering the dreamer. If the robber is an unfamiliar elderly man, it signifies backbiting by a trusted companion. Generally, a robbery holds positive implications, except for a braggart who thrives on treachery. Seeing oneself stealthily approaching to steal forewarns that one's own home or place of business will be burglarized.
