Buying roasted or grilled meat from a restaurant in a dream signifies enrolling one’s children in school and placing them under the care of a competent teacher who will educate and discipline them properly. The owner of such a restaurant represents a teacher, trainer, or spiritual guide, and purchasing from him also means employing a worker who was trained by an experienced master. Seeing oneself roasting or grilling meat indicates becoming a tax collector, physician, jailer, torturer, thief, or murderer. Watching someone roast meat over fire may signify a wedding, an outing, or celebrating the birth of a child. If the meat is thoroughly cooked, it brings glad tidings, but if it is undercooked, it points to headaches and worries caused by one’s son. Roasting an entire sheep means money, and eating its roasted meat signifies wealth earned through one’s son. Roasting a calf indicates relief from fear, news of a wife giving birth to a son, or standing before a judge in court. Eating food touched by fire denotes profits. If a roasted sheep’s leg speaks in the dream, it means escaping danger or becoming firmly established. A broiled rib represents a woman, since Eve was created from Adam’s rib, while the chest signifies plants and servants, and the belly represents children. A roasted leg signifies a woman’s earnings that her husband habitually takes from her, and if it is uncooked, it means slander or backbiting.
