Rising in status in a dream signifies a decline in how people regard the dreamer. Desiring authority or leadership over others indicates a reversal of circumstances toward a worse outcome. If one sees himself striving intensely to obtain a position of leadership and succeeds in winning it, it means he will become arrogant and will later face humiliation.
