A conveyance in a dream symbolizes attention, effort, the fulfillment of an aim, or reaching a goal through determined struggle. Mounting an animal signifies yielding to one's own whims and base desires. Conversely, being carried by any beast or vehicle denotes honor and command. Riding an unmanageable horse points to indulging in passions and moral laxity, whereas successfully taming and controlling it promises deliverance from trials. Riding a festively adorned horse in a procession, attended by servants, suggests receiving an inheritance or soon becoming the steward of a bequeathed property. Forcing a ride upon another man's shoulders represents one's own funeral, indicating that person will bear the coffin. If the carrier does so willingly, it means he will assume the dreamer's burdens and attend to his needs. This act of riding on shoulders also foretells a severe trial, though falling from that position means the ordeal will be averted. Riding backward on someone's shoulders shows a refusal to heed counsel, turning away from pleas for aid, or engaging in prohibited sexual acts.
