Islamic Interpretation
The location where one sees himself in spiritual seclusion in a dream reflects the activity or pursuit toward which he is naturally inclined. If the retreat occurs in a mosque, it signifies blessings or marriage to a virtuous woman. If the seclusion takes place inside one’s shop, it means that business matters have become his foremost concern. A spiritual retreat in a dream also represents devotion, prayer, hunger, a vowed fast, sorrow, humility, and disciplining one’s desires and impulses. Secluding oneself in a familiar place indicates that such a location is a source of comfort, while taking refuge in one’s shop signifies attachment to one’s means of livelihood.
